I’m not the first person to say, “In my next life, I’m coming back as a cat.” Here are pictures of my two best friends, Gunner and Whiskey. Gunner was saved by his owner from the animal shelter shortly before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Whiskey was found on a hot summer day abandoned in a box next to the walking trail that runs through our condominium complex. The same person took him in.
