Can Dylan Mulvaney save the world?

Yes.  If he has the courage. 

First, some background.  Dylan Mulvaney is purportedly a trans-identifying male.  In his particular case, this means a male who has adopted a flamboyant caricature of womanhood.  Really flamboyant.  He behaves like a manic, scrawny drag queen who is never off stage.  Due to his over-the-top affectations of female stereotypes, sensible transpeople make the case that his antics are a mockery of gender dysphoria, as well.    

Millions of people follow him on social media.  Some find his colorful antics entertaining, others find him annoying and offensive.  He fancies himself a “social media influencer,” which means—in the most favorable terms I can stomach—a person who profits off his narcissism.  The dude is definitely wired different than most people.  You’re not wrong if you think he’s a weirdo.  It’s also okay if you think his seemingly self-serving claim of womanhood is wonderful.  You must be free to have whatever opinion of him you wish.      

Dylan’s gender-bending frolics have provided him fame and infamy and fortune.  He has also received undeserved access.  Forbes invited him to a women’s forum.  Yes, a women’s forum.  A forum for trans-identifying people is one thing—and some transpeople would argue it would be scandalous to invite him there, as well—but this was a women’s forum, and the invitation played into the insisted upon lie that trans-identifying males are women, literally biological women.  They aren’t. 

Gender dysphoria is a mental health disorder; it is not a magical subverting of biology, no matter how insistent the Woke argue to the contrary, and this includes the cowardly doctors and scientists who espouse the madness that trans-identifying males are women.  Sensible transpeople acknowledge biological reality about themselves—otherwise, why would the term “trans” have been created in the first place.  Dylan was also invited to the White House, but this was ostensibly on behalf of his supposed membership in the transcommunity, though it can be argued it was solely because of his notoriety on social media and not his necessarily being their best representative.

Regardless of what you think of Dylan, his mere existence is not a problem, nor is his flighty behavior, so long as he is a productive member of society who leaves others to live their lives as they see fit.  This is true for anyone, weird or not.  Unfortunately, he decided to cross the line which separates harmless buffoonery from evildoing.  Specifically, he suggested that “misgendering” be illegal and during his visit to the White House, he told President Biden society mustn’t deny children access to what the Woke nefariously refer to as gender affirming healthcare. 

Allow me to accurately characterize what Dylan said: He is a fascist who is against free speech and wants those who he disagrees with silenced, if not outright punished.  He wants the medical-industrial complex to continue harming children via gender de-affirming treatments, which undermine and mutilate the physical manifestations of a child’s actual gender.  These medically unnecessary treatments include chemical sterilization (puberty blockers), the administering of wrong-sex hormones, and surgeries performed on healthy body parts.  The surgeries include penis removal (physical castration), testicle removal, breast removal, breast implants (for males), hysterectomies, tracheal shaving, facial femininization, and the fashioning of fake vaginas, fake penises, and fake scrotums (replete with fake plastic testes).        

I’ll assume he’s ignorant on the notion of what freedom of speech actually entails, since so many people today are wannabe censors and silencers.  I’ll also assume he hasn’t adequately researched gender de-affirming medicalization, especially when children are subjected to it.  I must make these assumptions; otherwise, my offer to him of a pathway to exhibit courage and save the world is moot. 

To the original question, can Dylan Mulvaney save the world?  Yes.  But it requires tremendous courage on his part.  A lot of it.  He’s going to have to man-up or trans-up or whatever-up, since he’ll face opprobrium from the Woke that makes anything he’s endured to date seem like child’s play.  He’ll also need to set aside his clownish persona and get serious because he’ll be taking on the powerful forces of transfascism which intends ruthless censorship, absolute control, and tremendous harm.    

Here’s how Dylan can save the world: 

1. Support free speech.  Stand in front of Michigan Governor Whitmer’s house or her office and state that he opposes the recently proposed law that makes “misgendering” a felony under certain circumstances.  He now recognizes that the Woke’s pronoun madness must stop. Freedom of speech must include the right to offend, and that criminalizing pronoun usage is a vast overreach by the government and silly as hell.  The speaker determines the pronouns he or she uses in reference to others, and the worse outcome of this is perhaps perceived rudeness.  It is not a hate crime.  It certainly isn’t felonious behavior or grounds for firing, expulsion, or other penalties.  Using he/his/him pronouns in reference to males, whatever the person’s proclaimed self-identify, is grammatically and biologically correct and is, in fact, accurate gendering.      
2. Oppose gender de-affirming care for minors.  Do some research.  Real research.  Listen to the stories of detransitioners who regret their decision to transition.  Listen to the stories of transpeople who say they don’t regret transitioning but are honest about the terrible medical consequences which resulted from their hormones or surgeries.  Learning these details is not for the faint of heart.  Also listen to reasonable transpeople who are opposed to gender de-affirming care for minors. He must then make it clear that he’s done his research and now opposes such medical treatment for minors.   

Two simple, straight-forward tasks.  But as Carl von Clausewitz said: “In war the simple is complex.”  Dylan mustn’t take up this challenge lightly.  He’ll need to decide if he agrees with this plan and if so, he must decide if he has the courage to do it.  He’ll find out just how vile the Woke are toward anyone who dares oppose their demented gender ideology, especially the vitriol they shower upon those transpeople they consider apostates.  The same people who now laud him will vilify and attempt to destroy him.  Dylan, the transfascists are not nice people, and they are not representative of good transpeople.   

Hell, if he goes to the governor’s house on behalf of defending free speech, I’ll offer to stand there with him.
